## Overview

SeeLLM assigns an estimated monetary value to content accessed by AI platforms. This helps you understand the economic impact of AI traffic on your site.

## How Valuation Works

The valuation model considers several factors:

### Platform Value Tiers

Different AI platforms represent different value levels based on their user bases and commercial models:

| Tier | Platforms | Rationale |
|------|-----------|-----------|
| High | ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity | Large paying user bases, content directly served to users |
| Medium | Google AI Overview, Bing Chat | Search-integrated, drives indirect traffic |
| Low | Crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot) | Training data collection, no immediate user value |

### Content Factors

- **Page type** — Product pages and documentation are valued higher than generic pages
- **Visit frequency** — Pages accessed repeatedly by AI are likely more authoritative
- **Platform diversity** — Content cited by multiple AI platforms has broader reach

## Reading the Valuation Dashboard

The content valuation view shows:

- **Total estimated value** — Aggregate value across all AI-accessed content
- **Per-page breakdown** — Which pages contribute most value
- **Per-platform breakdown** — Which AI platforms drive the most value
- **Trend over time** — Whether your content's AI value is growing or declining

## Limitations

Content valuation is an estimate, not a precise dollar figure. It's most useful for:

- Comparing relative value between pages
- Tracking trends over time
- Justifying investment in AI-optimized content
- Understanding which platforms value your content most
